Frazzleberries' Barnwood furniture collection comes to us from a small family-owned PA workshop. Each piece in the collection is crafted from reclaimed wood from old barns and out buildings - some as old as 200 years! The age of the wood provides an antique appearance complete with original nail holes, knots, dings, scratches and saw blade tracks. Because the wood used from piece to piece varies in appearance, each piece in the collection is a "one-of-a-kind" find - as no two pieces ever truly look identical.
To add additional stability and functionality, new-growth woodstock is used for framing, but most visible surfaces will feature antique wood - typically a combination of North American Pine, Hemlock and Poplar.
